One of the most photographed places in the world is Page,
Arizona. There are three specific areas that are photographed in this
area they are known as: The Wave, Horseshoe Bend, and Antelope Canyon.
These three places draw photographers from all over the world. One photographer who was attracted to these majestic places was Benjamin Partrick. Fifteen years ago he entered into Lower Antelope Canyon and due to a flash flood, he didn't come out. Yesterday his son and I entered the canyon, it was bitter sweet. Here are a few pictures from inside the slot canyon and they don't do the place justice.
After our hour walk through the canyon we traveled to Horseshoe Bend where the Colorado River makes a 270 degree turn and continues it's journey. Truly a beautiful place. There was a short hike to and from the outlook that we were able to take the puppies on. Poor Ember's feet got hot and needed to be carried for a little while.
Then we headed to Flagstaff with a few friends that we met up with, had a wonderful dinner and returned home. What a great day!
