Today we did dividing integers and the kids were able to pick up on it really quick. Which is good. We went over rules for multiplying (same sign = positive, different signs = negative) and asked the kids to come up with rules for division. Once we got to 10th period I had the flow down better and it was awesome.
Take home quiz due tomorrow. Some kids did the entire worksheet for homework which they didn't have to do. oh well. some kids just need to listen to directions A LOT better.
We also started the plus questions (graded "do now" "bell ringer" questions at the beginning of the period) today which I think will help students and encourage others.
Tomorrow we're playing a game, Integer Product Game. which will help with multiplying integers. Plus Dr. S. is coming tomorrow and tomorrow is the last day before our 3 days of field trips!!! sweet =)
